William Rosetti of Oakland, CA’s work in real estate began with Grubb & Ellis, an Oakland real estate firm. He became the manager of the San Francisco Residential operation. Following Grubb & Ellis, William started TRI Realtors. He also started his own management firm, J & R Associates and began to acquire apartment buildings and do real estate development. TRI grew to 1200 agents and was sold to Prudential. William Rosetti of Oakland, CA took charge of the Northern California Real Estate Operations. TRI bought itself back from Prudential and sold itself to Coldwell Banker. William left the firm and devoted himself to managing his own businesses.
In 2011, California’s “236 program” was brought to William Rosetti of Oakland, CA’s attention by the Coldbrook non-profit housing foundation. The program sets aside housing for people making less than 80% of median income and maintains that affordability for 35 years from the date that the property is leased to the nonprofit. William Rosetti turned over 200 units to management by the foundation to assure housing affordability in East Oakland.
William serves on a wide variety of boards and foundations that have the goal of lifting up the communities in which he operates, including the Bank of San Francisco, Board of Enterprise for Youth, The Youth Tennis Association, and the Board of Populace.Read Posts
